Privacy policy
This policy covers movingservicesdenver.com, an independent lead-generation publisher. Our editorial policy covers how we source what we publish, and the disclosure covers how we are paid.
What we collect
- Quote requests: the service, the ZIP you are moving from, where you are moving to, timing, home size, access, your name, phone, email, street address, preferred contact, any details you wrote, any estimator result, the page and the time.
- Visit details sent with a quote request: the page it was sent from, the first page you landed on, the referral source (the referring site or campaign tags in the link) and basic browser and device details (browser, operating system, device type, screen size, language and time zone). No third-party trackers or fingerprinting are used for this.
- Calls: we publish no phone number yet. If we add a tracked number, we will log the calling number, time and duration, and may record the call to confirm delivery, with the recording announced.
- Usage analytics: Google Analytics 4 records pages viewed, approximate location derived from your IP address, device type and how you arrived.
- Session recordings: Microsoft Clarity and PostHog record how pages are used (scrolling, clicks, mouse movement) so we can find confusing or broken parts of the site. The quote forms are marked so that these tools do not capture what you type into them.
Who it is shared with
We have not signed a partner mover yet, so quote requests are not shared with any mover. When one covers your ZIP and date, a request is shared only with that mover. Requests pass through FormSubmit, the form service that delivers them to us. Usage data is processed by Google, Microsoft and PostHog under their own terms. Nothing is sold to data brokers or shared with advertisers.
How long we keep it
We have not set a fixed retention period yet. Quote requests are kept in our inbox until you ask us to delete them. Analytics and recording data are kept for the default period of each tool.
Your choices
Email hello@movingservicesdenver.com to see, correct or delete what we hold about you, or to ask that a mover stop contacting you. We answer within 30 days.
Cookies
Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity and PostHog set cookies or browser storage to recognize a returning visit. No advertising cookies are set. The quote form stores your first landing page and referral source in session storage, which clears when you close the tab.
